  • PRODUCTION AREA:
    Hills around Chieti.
  • SOIL TYPE:
    Clayey, Medium-textured soil.
    Between 300 and 400 m. above the sea levelm.
  • CULTIVATION SYSTEM:
    “Tendone” and spur cordon.
  • HARVESTING PERIOD:
    Half October.
  • VINIFICATION PROCESS:
    Grape crushing by soft pneumatic presses, then cold maceration for about 10 hours not to get over-colour, and temperature controlled fermentation of the must at 16-18°C, it is separated from skins in stainless steel tanks.
  • AGEING PROCESS:
    Ageing process in stainless steel barrels for at least two months and then two-month ageing process in bottle.
